Kriya Yoga And The Nature Of The Journey

In India, The Kriya Yoga works with changing emotions of the mind towards becoming in the nature of Yoga as the body. The Yoga-Purusharthas talk of changing the body from being rooted in the pain of the past to being rooted in the goodness of the present. This yoga changes the nature of the mind towards becoming that of the nature of the infinite. As Krishnamurti said, "If I could speak of the nature of the mind of the Self, I would not have said that it was a thoughtless, selfish, seeking selfish thing.

Kriya Yoga was brought to the West by Yogananda in the 1920s. He established the Self-Realization Fellowship as a ‘total yoga’ system that sought spiritual consideration of the physical aspects as well as the soul.

Kriya Yoga has found a place among some people who are looking for a deeper, more spiritual relationship with their lives.  It is a kundalini-oriented yoga and meditation technique, which also teaches some spiritual and mysterious principles.  Unfortunately, like many similar “spiritual” energy structures, it teaches you that basically your energy resides outside of yourself - that is, you need a ‘guru’ or ‘master’ to access your own innate spirituality.

There are some goals of verb addition that seem to be both appealing and committed.  They aim to remove “obstructions” and “obstacles” from the mind and body.  Perspectives are very interesting things here.  Because what is the obstacle or barrier of one, it may not be for the other.  It assumes a very interesting light in the context of power structures and belief systems and highlights why it is important to maintain your own self-sovereignty in mind and action.

Kriya Yoga originates from three other yoga techniques - Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga and Jnana Yoga. Karma Yoga centers the movement of the soul both inside and outside the mind. Knowledge Yoga focuses on knowledge, gives freedom of mind. Bhakti Yoga focuses on love, because it allows you to agree with everything around you.The goal of their combination was to "purify" the mind and soul, and proponents of Kriya Yoga believe that they can achieve self-realization in this way faster than following other branches.

   Kriya preparation: 👇👇🏿

The first step in the action is to ‘prepare’ your body, and this is done in several ways.  For many, stubborn yoga is the perfect preparation practice.  For others, though, who may not be so flexible, alternatives are provided.

After the action, the mind is prepared.  This behavior studies general behavior as part of the mental process, so it is essential to make sure your mind is focused properly.  Additionally, the kriya yoga technique pushes you to study the principles of overall well-being, cleanliness, purity and even metaphor.  Together, however, they help prepare the mind for subsequent strategies that use the body's life energy currents externally to "refine" the brain and nervous system.

Mantras are taught in kriya yoga techniques.  They are believed to deepen the meditative experience.  This sound technology undoubtedly tunes the body, like a tuning fork, any sound that repeats and focuses.  The question is, of course, with what frequency is the body being tuned?

If self-realization is a journey, whose journey are we embarking on?  Us, or someone else?  The kriya yoga undoubtedly resonates with some people.  For myself, I prefer more transparency.
